Daniel Ruiz Tizon, a man on his fifth nose, is, he’d like the world to know, Available, and dissecting the minutiae of everyday life.
This week, our little known podcast host is joined by the formerly broken genius of the East Midlands Jason Benskin, whose terrible start to 2016 threatens to revive his old sobriquet. As well as discussing Jason’s to-date poor New Year, the duo recall being part of the last generation to have gone into adulthood without the internet and how the internet’s widespread arrival in the late nineties might have influenced the men they have gone onto become.
Daniel and Jason also talk about the respective shadows their late fathers have cast on their lives, before launching a new and surely doomed to fail feature, ‘Billy’s Shoes’ in which listeners are invited to guess the location in the picture where Jason’s fleet of suede LaCoste Casuals have been photographed this week.
